Tanaka Group to host 14 undergraduate / graduate students for the MACS (MAthematics-based Creation of Science) program of Faculty of Science, Kyoto Unversity.
The theme of our study group is “Developing mathematical models to understand collective cellular behaviors in dieseases”（「疾患における集団的細胞挙動の数理モデルの開拓」）and will bring together students from various disciplines to tackle a new, interdisciplinary field.

Prof. Tanaka and Dr. Yamamoto joined the 4th Network Conference Reseach Alumni which was held at Kyoto University by the Heidelberg Alumni International and Heidelberg Alumni Japan.
Prof. Tanaka gave a talk “My Experience as a HeKKSaGOn Professor”, while Dr. Yamamoto introduced his scientific activities as a Heidelberg Alumni and HeKKSaGOn Junior Reseacher.

Ophthalmology), where he gave a talk titled “Developing Medicine Physics that leads to Clinical Practice”（「臨床へとつながる医学物理学の開拓」）.
